Kofta (Egyptian meat balls)

kofta, ready for being boiled

 Ingredients:

-1kg minced meat
-2 big grated onions
-4-5 cloves garlic
-salt, spices (as we like), chopped parsley

I. We mix all the ingredients together and we knead well.

II. we make meat balls, bit bigger as they will become smaller once they are boiled

III.Melt the butter, add some oil and arrange the meat balls into the pan.

IV.We pour water into the pan just enough to sink half of the meat balls, then we cover the pan and we let it boil on a small fire. From time to time pour water till kofta is well boiled. In the end, all the water will evaporate.

Instead of boiling kofta into the pan, we can just put the meat balls on a wooden stick and we grill it. Grilled kofta made of lamb meat is amazing! So tasty! :)

We can eat kofta besides any kind of food - rice, okra, peas
grilled kofta

Ingrediente:

-1 kg carne tocata de vita
-2 cepe mari
-4-5 graunti de usturoi (optional)
-patrunjel tocat marunt (optional)
-sare, condimente dupa gust

III.Topim untul si adaugam putin ulei, apoi asezam kofta in tigaie.

IV.

Pofta buna!
